You moved the furniture out of the living room and I finally realized how big it was
How could I not have realized that before?
For awhile the room felt tiny.
Dust and discoloration showed where the pictures hung, and couch feet became phantom limbs, still pressing their imprints into the carpet.
I couldn’t imagine bringing new furniture in the door. There was no way it would fit.
But the room now seems bigger than ever, and it’s ready to be revamped.
I’ll renovate myself.
